Couples Therapy

Do you feel like you’re having the same argument on repeat? Maybe one of you pushes to resolve conflicts while the other shuts down to try to keep the peace. In couples therapy, we’ll work to understand the cycles that keep you both feeling lonely, even when you're in the same room.

Please be assured the goal is not to blame or “fix” either of you. You'll both be heard, valued, and supported as we work on the same team to understand and make change.

Some issues that bring couples to therapy are:

  • No longer feeling close

  • Conflicts around work (within the home and outside)

  • Conflicts around parenting or money

  • Missing fun, adventure, and spontaneity

  • Jealousy or insecurity

  • Issues with previous partners or blended family

  • Effects of chronic illness

  • Considering divorce

  • Issues with extended family

  • Infidelity/cheating

  • Differences in sexual desire

I help couples move beyond surface-level arguments to the deep, secure connection you actually crave.

I welcome all types of couples and relationship models.

A Note About Insurance:

Please be aware that most insurance plans do not cover couples therapy (with some exceptions).  A sliding scale is available for couples therapy fees.

If you and your partner are struggling, please reach out for a free consultation call to learn how to stop the cycle and start reaching for each other again.
